5 ingredient pasta meal

After our weekly swimming lessons on Saturday, the children are often ravenous - as they should be! It's paramount for me to put together a quick, healthy and filling meal for all of us when we get home. If your children enjoy pasta like mine, here's a meal idea you might like to attempt for yours.
Creamy Spiral Pasta with Chicken, Broccoli and Spinach serves 6
1/2 packet of spiral pasta, cooked till al dente
1/4 roast chicken
1 medium size broccoli, just the florets - microwaved for 5 mins
2 handfuls of spinach, cut finely with kitchen scissors
4 heap tbsps cream cheese
  1. In a large serving bowl, combine all the ingredients and serve it up
  • Can be kept in the fridge for up to 2 days. Great eaten cold like pasta salad or re-heat in the microwave
  • Other pasta combinations that work well for my family include: (1) bacon bit, broccoli, pumpkin and corn AND (2) tuna, peas and corn.
