THE meal that takes 15 mins to put together

It was one of those 'growth spurt' days with the kids. From the moment my car pulled into the garage, they howled "I am hungry!!!!" from the back seats.
That sentence is magic and horror to my ears. Magic because that means they are ravenous and will eat without nagging on my part. Horror because that means I have to whip up a meal very quickly (and ensure that it is kinda nutritionally balanced).
With that in the back of my mind, I checked out the pantry and refrigerator to ascertain the possibilities. Here's what I came up with.
Stir Fry Spiral Pasta with Chicken and Vegetables
(serves a hungry family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers)
1/2 packet of high fibre spiral pasta
4 boneless chicken thigh fillets, cut into bite sized pieces
1 large broccoli, cut into bite side pieces
1 large carrot, cut into small cubes
1 large zucchini, cut into small cubes
1 thumb size ginger, cut into thin slices
2tbsps oil
2 tbsps oyster sauce
2 tbsps soy sauce
1 tbsp raw sugar
2 tsps garlic salt
1. Place the pasta in a pot with enough water to cover them and cook over high heat. Should only take 10 mins.
2. In a wok, heat it over high heat for 1 min. Add oil and ginger - stir fry for 30s and remove ginger. Add chicken - stir fry for 3 mins. Add the vegetables - mix well with the chicken, add all the sauces and stir fry for 5 mins. Add cooked pasta - mix well with all the other ingredients and turn it down to medium heat.
3. Serve immediately.
*Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated in the microwave. We did not have any leftovers.*
