My daughter is very feminine.
She loves wearing dresses and fluffy skirts.
She loves sparkly shoes, necklaces and bracelets.
She loves playing dress ups with the full gamut of accessories.
She loves looking like a princess but be warned, do not call her a Princess.
She absolutely hates it.
My son is a typical boy.
He loves trains, gardening and cars.
He loves to be tickled, kissed and cuddled.
He loves making up stories with his toys.
He loves being treated like a baby but be warned, do not call him a baby.
He absolutely hates it.
Armed with that knowledge, I use those terms sparingly when I need them to do what I want them to do pronto and ... it works!
